Partners

The Cause is a launching organization. It is our goal to partner with ministries and people at the ground level and help them create a sustainable organization.

Here are our current long-term partners: 

*New Partner* MyCause4Orphans- Uganda, East Africa

MyCause4Orphans was designed to inspire the next generation to see (and to share) the huge needs 4orphans, to pray for a specific “cause” 4orphans ontheir hearts, and to inspire and equip these youth, small groups and families to see their cause 4orphans fulfilled. For more details click here

*New Partner* Living Sacrifice- Kampala, Uganda

Kelly Rompel is launching this project in 2010. She will be working with women impacted by FGM (female genital mutilation). Click here to read updates about Living Sacrifice.

*New Partner* Open Door International- Lira, Uganda

Andy & Cami Flege, along with their daughter Keely, have recently moved to Northern Uganda to help launch a ministry to bring hope and help to orphans in that region of Uganda. 

*New Partner* Hope is Alive- Mozambique

Samantha Peat will be spending one year serving at the Zimpeto Center alongside Sharon Lee. 

Plead the Cause- Kampala, Uganda

Brent & Virginia Earwicker have been serving in Uganda, East Africa since 2006 building up the local church through teaching and discipleship training. 

Sharon Lee- Iris Ministries, Mozambique
Sharon Lee serves at the Zimpeto Center in Mozambique. She is a dorm mom, hosts service teams and has launched a program to help the youth of the Zimpeto Center develop job skills and find work. Click here to read Sharon's blog. 

Debi Morris- Hope for Ek Balam- Yucatan Penninsula, Mexico

The Hope for Ek Balam project began in 2007, led by Debi Morris, the goal of this project is to work with the village of Ek Balam helping them to become more economically stable and spiritually vibrant. Click here to read Debi's blog.

Amani Life Project- East Africa

The Amani Life Project was started in 2009. The goal of this project is to raise money for orphaned girls to go to college. 

The Morning Star Project- Beijing, China

Bill and Lynsay Lewis, along with their 2 girls, are moving to China in 2008 to open a foster home for orphans with special needs.

Team Yucatan- Playa del Carmen, Mexico

Team Yucatan is the ministry of Ron & Donna Griggs to Mexico. They have a local church in Playa del Carmen as well as a ministry of encouraging the pastors throughout the region.

*New Partner* Seth Sokoloff- Kampala, Uganda

Seth is interning with Plead the Cause from January- August 2010. 

Jake & Kyla Salmond- Young Life, Dominican Republic
Jake & Kyla Salmond are dedicating the next three years of their lives to serve with Young Life in Dominican Republic.

  
Past projects and partners

2003-2009 After School Buddies. The Cause was proud to help raise up this local after school mentoring program in Bend Oregon. By 2008, After School Buddies became a large enough entity that it was ready to launch its own non-profit. The Cause looks forward to watching ASB grow as it launches out on its own. 
February 2007 worked with Seth Brown to go to Uganda, East Africa
August 2007 helped 3 young people travel to Uganda, East Africa to work with Brent & Virginia Earwicker
October 2007 sponsored "A Night for the Children" to raise money for Lavacare school in Uganda
