Tyler and Bre Wards' Asian Adventure
Kingman, AZ | Japan
Hello! Konichiwa! We are The Ward family: Tyler, Bre, and Jubilee. We are a kingdom-minded missionary family currently living and serving in Kingman, AZ as teachers at Lion of Judah Christian Schools. Tyler is the chaplain, teaches Bible and history, runs the IT department, and wears any other hat that comes up (he is a modern renaissance man). Bre is currently teaching 6th grade math and leading the art club, and Jubilee is the unofficial mascot and joy-bringer through her ministry of presence. We have a heart for discipleship and revival in the Word and worship. Although God has called us to Kingman for now, we are actively preparing to launch overseas to be missionaries in Asia, starting in Japan.
We have heard God’s heart and said "yes" to the call of bringing the Gospel message of Jesus to the people of Japan. Japan is a vastly unreached nation with less than 2% of the population being Christian. With the highest suicide rate in the world, the decline of child birth, a high value of performance based worth, brokenness from natural disasters and the devastation of nuclear warfare, the Japanese people are in need of hope. We desire to reach them through relational ministry starting with a language cafe. We want to teach English as a way of building meaningful relationships and to share biblical truths by using a Bible-based curriculum. Coupled with intercessory prayer and worship, we have a vision to see the harvest in Japan come to fruition and to witness the love of Jesus change lives.
- Pray for the Japanese people’s hearts to be open to the gospel and to experience the unconditional love of God.
- Pray for funding and support that will help us to focus as we prepare to launch.
- Pray for God to give us vision, divine appointments, and practical next steps as we go on a vision trip this summer.
- Pray for us to have favor and grace to learn the Japanese language and culture quickly and effectively.
- Pray that we continue to grow deeper in Love with God and people.
