Who we are:
CoCreation is a spiritual formation ministry focused on one thing… Making space for others to experience the presence of God in all areas of life.
Our Definition of Spiritual Formation
A continuous surrender / to the Spirit’s invitation / to Kingdom Reality.
An alignment of the soul / with Christ-in-all / for the Creative Restoration of All Things.
We are Christian & Hannah Swails: Former Army Ranger & Hairstylist turned overseas Missionaries, now Spiritual Director and Retreat Facilitator. God has walked us through a wide range of experiences in his Kingdom. We planted churches in Spain for four years, where our daughter Savy Joy was born. During that time Christian received a Master of Arts in Spiritual Formation and Direction from George Fox University. We are a 4 & 7 on the enneagram (we’ll let you guess who is which) and love to write, read, and travel.
We are passionate about creating balance between a fast paced world and a slowed down spirituality.
At CoCreation, we believe faith is a holistic experience that affects every aspect of our humanity: Emotional, Relational, Psychological, Physical, and Spiritual.
We use ancient practices of the Christian faith (silence & solitude, practicing the presence, prayer labyrinth, communal discernment, beholding, lectio & visio divina) to invite a deeper experience of God. We narrow the gap between what we believe in faith and what we experience in real life.
Being continually in God’s presence in everyday life is possible.

Through retreats, workshops, and spiritual direction we serve:
- Ministry leaders (thriving or battling burnout
- Church small groups, lay leadership
- Missionaries in transition
- Those searching for intimacy with God
- Those hungry for their faith to be real
- Those desiring to reconstruct their faith
We are extending an invitation to live into an embodied and holistic faith.
