Maween Foundation is a Zambian non for profit organization that is dedicated to empowering orphans, youths, widows, vulnerable families, and people living in poverty.
We take a holistic approach to community development, working to create sustainable change through initiatives that promote education, entrepreneurship, healthcare, sustainable agriculture, economic empowerment, skills development, and spiritual guidance.
Through sustainable agriculture and livelihood programs, we seek to strengthen food security, create economic opportunities, encourage self-reliance, and equip communities with practical skills and resources that can create lasting impact.
Our mission is to restore and sustain hope, dignity, and independence among those we serve, empowering individuals and families to reach their full potential and contribute positively to the development of their communities.

Maween Foundation serves vulnerable and underserved individuals, families, youth, and communities, with a particular focus on those facing poverty, limited opportunities, and social or economic challenges.

Young people and youth – equipping them with skills, entrepreneurship opportunities, mentorship, and pathways toward a productive and independent future.
Widows and vulnerable women – supporting them with livelihood opportunities, skills development, economic empowerment, and practical support.
Vulnerable families – helping families strengthen their livelihoods, access essential resources, and build greater resilience.
Families in need of safe housing – helping vulnerable families access safe, secure, and dignified housing, creating a stable environment where children and families can live, grow, and thrive.
Rural and underserved communities – supporting sustainable agriculture, food security, education, healthcare, housing, and community development.
