Dr. Christine Brody, M.D.

Who we are:  

MED4 is a medical and surgical mission organization serving the healthcare needs of women in developing countries.

MED4 was born in 2023 from it’s parent organization, Med4OurWorld, a non-profit medical and surgical organization co-founded by Dr. Christine Brody who felt led by God to serve the healthcare needs of women in the developing countries of Nicaragua and Fiji from 2010 to 2023.

MED4 continues the journey of Med4OurWorld on a smaller scale, but with the same passion and objectives of surgical care and education of local healthcare providers, in partnership with The Cause.

Who we serve:  

By partnering with local clinics and hospitals as well as other nonprofit organizations, MED4 is able to provide the much needed medical and surgical care to women in need in developing countries.

One of the primary goals of MED4 is to leave a lasting impact in the communities we serve, beyond their immediate surgical health care needs. With each mission trip, MED4 provides additional training to local healthcare professionals. Through education and training, MED4 looks to improve each community’s own self sufficiency for surgical treatments long after our team’s departure.

How you can pray:  

• Pray that all the women who need our surgeries in the countries we serve will hear about us and come to be healed.
• Pray for our patients’ courage, strength and faith as many of them undergo surgery for their first time.
• Pray for our nurses and surgeons that they would be lifted up and guided as they evaluate and treat their new patients.
• Pray for the health and safe journey of our medical teams as they cross international borders to serve.
• Pray for the families of both our volunteers and our patients, and that they would be lifted up and taken care of while their loved ones serve and be served.
