Who We Are
My name is Joshua and I am passionate about empowering and investing in this next generation of youth and children. My hope is to see them understand their identity in Christ and to walk in the fullness of who they were created to be. I have a passion for God’s Word and to see others understand it, learn from it, and grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Climbing on tall rocks and spending as much time as I can around a table with those I love are just a few more passions I carry.
Before moving to Mae Sot, Thailand, I spent the better part of a decade traveling the world, participating in international missions, and living within communities that share the same passion for Jesus Christ, His Word, and seeing others empowered to live for Him. Throughout all of my experiences in the places the Lord has taken me, I have seen first hand how the faithfulness and goodness of God can change the world as we step willingly into each other’s lives to shine a light where there is darkness and lend aid where there is brokenness.
At the start of 2024, I joined the team here at Outpour Family to work directly with our Refuge Youth Home—serving and training our youth whose lives have been uprooted by the dangers of war across our border. Each day I have the opportunity to serve, disciple, and teach them more of the Word of God. Our prayer for them is that just like in Isaiah 61, the Lord will use them to REBUILD, RAISE UP, and REPAIR the broken places, the desolations of many generations.

Who We Serve
Since 2008, Outpour Family Foundation has been serving the people who transcend the Thai/Myanmar border through educational training, community outreach, and child and family advocacy. Our aim is to empower individuals and families to find belonging and restoration in Jesus Christ while creating eternal impact.
Here at Outpour Family, my primary role is Lead Advocate for our Refuge Youth Home. The Refuge is a youth family style home for boys and girls aged 10-20 who come from desperate situations in conflict zones across the border in Myanmar. This home provides a family structure and safe space for these youth to learn and grow in all areas of life.
The heart behind this home is to:
– Equip youth with education, training, and the tools they need help provide for their families and be equipped to better help their people in war-torn Burma
– Model Godly family, love, and values
– Obtain proper documentation for all who come into our care
– Establish a safe, nurturing environment
– Restore children to family and family to children
Our team is diverse with passions and experiences in many different fields. With that in mind, our projects serve a wide range of objectives. It’s in the nature of Outpour Family to keep going after what God puts on our hearts, and we hope you will join us on this journey.

How You Can Pray
Pray for PEACE and RESTORATION for the nation and people of Burma.
Pray for all of the youth and kiddos that are under our care. That they will walk boldly into the the fullness of their God given identities.
Pray for God ordained partnerships and relationships that will increase the impact of this ministry.
