Rachel Marie Allen Ministries
Louisville, Kentucky, USA
I have been serving in South Louisville in Kentucky for almost four years. I am stepping into different areas of ministry in the same community I have been living in during that time. I will be doing anti trafficking prevention and outreach, teen mentoring, dance ministry, and serving the people coming to the community center.
I work in a diverse population with many refugee, immigrant, and low income families that are extremely high risk for exploitation. Many of our families have and are continuing to experience significant trauma that I hope to serve in an informed way. The goal is to build relationship, provide resources, and share the love of Christ with this community.
- Pray for wisdom as I am praying about new programming to reach exploited women
- Pray for the ministry to be blessed with the generosity of others
- Pray for continued relationships with local organizations and people in the community
- Pray for curiosity and the desire the learn more about Jesus for the women and teens

This summer, I have the incredible opportunity to host two children through an orphan hosting program, called Project 143, offering them a safe, nurturing environment and the love and care every child deserves. It’s a faith-based organization that connects children—many of whom are older or part of a sibling set—with loving host families for five weeks. The goal is to help them find their forever family, either through the host family themselves or through advocacy within their communities. These five weeks can be life-changing for children who have never experienced a stable family setting — giving them memories, connection, and a glimpse of hope for their future. As a host, I’m open to adoption, but I'm also committed to being a voice and a connection point for these children. After fostering for five years and welcoming 12 girls into my home—including my daughter who I recently adopted from foster care—this feels like a new, meaningful way to open our home and hearts again.
But this is just the beginning.
I’m also raising funds to purchase a dedicated home — a safe space that can serve as a refuge for children in need and a hub for ongoing ministry. This home will be used not only during the hosting season but year-round, offering support, care, and a Christ-centered environment where healing and transformation can take place.
Your support will help cover:
- Travel, clothing, and care expenses for the two hosted children this summer
- Down payment and initial costs toward securing a home for hosting and ministry
- Furnishings and preparation to make the space welcoming and safe
Together, we can create a lasting impact — not just for this summer, but for many children in the years to come. Thank you for considering partnering with me in this mission to bring love, safety, and hope where it’s needed most.
Every gift matters. Every child matters. Let’s be the difference.
