Rachel Allen
Who we are:
I have been serving in South Louisville in Kentucky for almost four years. I am stepping into different areas of ministry in the same community I have been living in during that time. I will be doing anti trafficking prevention and outreach, teen mentoring, dance ministry, and serving the people coming to the community center.
Who we serve:
I work in a diverse population with many refugee, immigrant, and low income families that are extremely high risk for exploitation. Many of our families have and are continuing to experience significant trauma that I hope to serve in an informed way. The goal is to build relationship, provide resources, and share the love of Christ with this community.
How you can pray:
- Pray for wisdom as I am praying about new programming to reach exploited women
- Pray for the ministry to be blessed with the generosity of others
- Pray for continued relationships with local organizations and people in the community
- Pray for curiosity and the desire the learn more about Jesus for the women and teens
