Who we are:
Hello! I'm Sarah and I'm a missionary in Los Angeles. I love the Lord and I love helping people grow in deeper relationship with Him. In May of 2021 I started a house church called HOPE and we've been meeting in Los Angeles ever since.
We take our model after the early church in the book of Acts. At HOPE we gather to share a meal and come together in fellowship, worship, and the Word. We're focused on creating community, deepening in discipleship, and growing in the spiritual gifts.
Who we serve:
I come from a big family but several years ago I went through a painful hardship while living several states away from my family and friends. In that season I felt so alone. I would wake up at night crying and I heard my heart calling out for family.
I have never forgotten that feeling, and it's one of the reasons why I'm passionate today about creating family for those who don't have it. If you've ever struggled with wondering whether you belong, HOPE is the place for you. If you don't have family around you right now, we'd love to welcome you into the one we're creating. As a family, HOPE is on a mission to love our neighbors in Los Angeles in practical ways. There are so many great organizations tackling the very large problems we face as a city; our aim is to connect to other important needs in the community that may otherwise slip through the cracks. We've been blessed to serve at several nursing homes, help high-school students in the inner city, provide food and hygiene kits for unhoused neighbors in our neighborhoods, and clean up parks in the community.

- Join me in praying for the Lord to continue to bring the family-less to HOPE.
- Please pray that I would lead with sensitivity, wisdom, and humility. It's my heart to be fully interruptible to the purposes of the Holy Spirit.
- Please praise the Lord with me in confidence that He is a Good Father who loves to provide for His children.
