Spark to Sustain | Nathan and Morgan Funke
Tennessee, USA
We are Nathan and Morgan Funke (it’s literally pronounced Funky). In German the name Funke means spark, and that’s what we do.
In the simplest terms we are the spark that helps others create food and sustainability systems for people in need.
This can look like consulting on a egg project in Africa, using our minifarm as a research and development hub, or traveling to help ministries implement food production systems.
Nathan is an avid horticulturist, master gardener, and systems architect with a global mindset and a heart for helping those in need.
Morgan had to quickly ask google what horticulture was when Nathan mentioned it on their first date, but she brings decades of missions experience and vital connections, through her work as CEO of The Cause.
We believe that helping ministries create sustainable systems is an exponential catalyst and it will allow them to build recurring revenue and decrease their long-term funding needs.
Ministries that are looking to create food and sustainability systems to help the underserved worldwide.
- Wisdom and strategy in helping other ministries thrive
- Opportunities to collaborate to further the Kingdom of God
- Full funding so we have the resources needed to do this work
