Who We Are
We are a family following God’s calling to restore struggling Christians and prodigals to a close relationship with Jesus Christ. Our story brought us from a place of struggle, addiction, mental illness, and demonic oppression to a place of wholeness and restoration. We want to see others go through the same transformation because we know firsthand that Jesus can bring hope to impossible situations!
Michael is the visionary bringing us all together to follow God’s plan, Brennen is the videographer making sure the stories are captured in an impactful way, Susan is the administrative and financial wonder, and Kiera is our amazing production assistant.
LAUNCH PHASE II
We officially launched TruWitness on Sept 13th, 2024 and it was a huge success! Previous to our official launch, we laid the groundwork of the ministry, including its purpose and plan.
We created a website and a social media campaign, started a YouTube channel, filmed 6 testimonies, and connected with 4 churches and one parachurch ministry. We believed so much in what the Lord called us to do, that we donated the first $15,000 of seed money and began working full-time for the ministry.
Within 6 weeks after the launch of TruWitness, we filmed 3 additional videos and planned and posted 4 new videos – with one receiving 10K views on YouTube in just one week! We also held 6 testimony Watch Parties at 4 different churches which engaged over 262 attendees.
At every Watch Party, we witnessed people filled with compassion and grace, as well as tears of joy and hope in their eyes. Hearts were stirred as they caught the vision of how stories help reach the prodigal, and give hope to those who struggle in their faith.
At the end of each Watch Party, we had a Q&A time and the engagement was beyond our expectations. As an example, there was one woman who had the same issue as the story-giver and he was able to help her, and he currently still does.
Now we are launching Phase 2 of our ministry! To continue to grow the impact on Christian and prodigal lives, we need your help! We are trusting God to move on hearts to meet the goal of a special $40,000 funding campaign over the next few months.
Meeting this goal will enable us to:
Exponentially reach more people for the Kingdom
Increase the number of testimonies we find, film, edit, and post
Gain more church and parachurch connections
Establish more ministry and resource partners
Increase the number of Watch Parties
Create resources for friends and families who need to know how to help prodigal and struggling Christians in their lives
Hire additional staff to create and manage our social media presence, produce the newsletter, create and update our blog, and handle online communications with our viewership
Funding will also streamline our operations and enable us to handle the increased amount of time it takes to talk and pray with the ministry’s growing community – the testimony-givers, church and ministry partners, prayer partners, and donors.

TruWitness reaches struggling Christians and prodigals with inspiring and victorious “Return to Faith” testimony videos. We make these videos available on YouTube and other social media channels to reach them where they spend much of their time. Video testimonies impact the hearts of struggling Christians and prodigals by showing them that God will still accept them back. Hearing the stories of others who God has restored from difficult struggles and/or sinful lifestyles convinces those whose hearts God has prepared to take the first step to seek God again. Our stories cover the many struggles and reasons for walking away from God so viewers can relate to a similar life story.
Churches and Nonprofits:
TruWitness provides churches and Christian nonprofits with a catalog of free testimony videos to show their church body, parents of prodigals, or staff for inspiration and training on how to welcome those struggling with grace, hope, and the love of Jesus Christ. Churches can select and show our testimonies in a church service, host a separate testimony Watch Party event, or use testimonies in email newsletters and/or social media. We also help churches and nonprofits find and shoot video testimonies within their community at no charge.
