Who we are:
Hi! I’m Hannah!
God has put a big vision on my heart to partner with faith-filled people to help seekers find connection to Christ in mind, body, & spirit.
After 10 years in intentional sales & marketing, I found myself in a state of burnout and lacking purpose. At the end of 2019, I followed a crazy God-calling to quit my job and leave everything behind to do an 11-month mission trip to 11 countries called The World Race. During that time, I also started my yoga business and ministry called High Rise Yoga.
Unfortunately, COVID brought me back from the nations unexpectedly, but I continued with the mission God put on my heart.
Since then, I have partnered with incredible organizations around the world to teach yoga from a Christian perspective, offer life coaching & inner healing, business consulting to ministries and Kingdom-minded companies, and provide service & outreach to communities in need. Some of these partnerships include my time in the Entrepreneurs in Residence program with Global U Gap Year and co-owning Yogipreneurs, a mastermind group for Christian yoga entrepreneurs.
Since 2020, I have lived and served communities in Bali, Malaysia, Thailand, Dominican Republic, Ukraine, Georgia, Missouri and Costa Rica.
Currently, I facilitate Christ-centered yoga & surf mission trips, retreats and immersions all around the world. I have a heart for business as missions. I’m involved in many amazing projects including Wholeness Journey, WOW Surf & Yoga Camps and an upcoming medical research study on the effects of yoga on cortisol levels.
My Wholeness Journey twists and turns - but Jesus is always at the center! I would love for you to join me on this journey as we bring wholeness to the body of Christ through strategic partnerships and outreach.
Who we serve:
I partner with non-profit organizations and Christian ministries around the world who are doing incredible work to serve those in need.
Since 2016, Wholeness Journey partnered with the women's ministry of a church of San Pedro, Guatemala that serves impoverished women who are highly susceptible to various forms of abuse. We've also partnered with an anti-trafficking organization in Pattaya, Thailand that serves men and women coming out of the sex-for-sale industry and is on a mission to rescue, train and equip them for a life of hope and freedom. We also have an incredible relationship with Transforma, a faith-based award winning NGO in Costa Rica that takes the “wrap-around” holistic approach to help women break out of the poverty cycle through entrepreneurship and skills training.
Over the course of the Wholeness Journey experiences, our participants uncover new truths from God about who they are created to be and then share what they learn with others in need. At the close of our trips, we always take time to work on plans for how to apply what we've learned, so that we can go home and live purposefully in our everyday lives.
The people that I serve with W.O.W Surf Camps in predominately focused on the individuals that attend the surf camps and yoga retreats. However, we’ve identified areas of greatest need in the communities where we surf and invite our surf campers to join us in making a difference in the lives of others. From building homes for local families to organizing surf camps for underserved youth, these service-oriented experiences are both life-changing and life-giving for everyone.
Through my partnership with Wholeness Journey, WOW Surf & Yoga Camps and other established non-profits, I come alongside trusted organizations to add value to the sustainable work they are already doing on the ground through a Christ-centered mind, body, and spirit approach.
How you can pray:
- Pray for the ministries we partner with and the people they serve. Pray that God will continue to bring those in need to find relationship with these ministries. Pray that God will continue to give these ministries His vision and provide everything needed to bring His kingdom in the communities they serve.
- Pray for the participants who come on Wholeness Journeys, W.O.W. Surf & Yoga Camps, and other immersions I lead. Pray that God brings participants hungry to connect more fully with Him.
- Pray for our ministry leaders. Pray that God would continue to reveal to us more strategy for how to grow what He is building in this ministry. Please pray for continued success in the implementation of the strategies He gives us.Pray for more strategic partnerships & collaborations.
- Pray for more trip leaders. Pray that God raises up new leaders to help grow the Wholeness Journey and other ministries I’m a part of. Pray for health, wholeness and unity within our growing teams.
- Pray for funding. Pray that God multiplies the gifts that are given and brings in all we need to carry out His dreams for this ministry and the ones we serve together.
