Phil Walsh was raised in Bangladesh and is a native Bengali speaker. His mission is to preach the Gospel, either via Zoom or in person, in each of the 64 districts of Bangladesh.
Recently Phil became a Cause Partner and our partnership has helped to spur him on in this endeavor! Check out some of his inspiring stories.

Recently, Phil had four meetings in four different villages in one district. In these meetings, the people sat and listened intently to what was being taught. Many had questions which he was able to provide answers for.
In one village, the WiFi wasn’t allowing him to get through on Zoom. However, one of the villagers said to the group, “Come with me. I have a place with good internet coverage.” He took all 40+ people into a Hindu temple where Phil proceeded to preach the gospel!
This was something Phil had never heard of happening before, especially because they were preparing to celebrate their greatest religious festival of the year, Durga Puja.
In the next village, after Phil's Zoom teaching, a man who came invited Phil's coworker to his home.
Upon arriving there, he found that there were 9 people in one family who wanted to pray to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior!
In October, a group of 7 new believers were baptized. They came from three different religions!
We've been able to come alongside 60+ partners as they help people all across the world. When we hear life-changing stories like Phil's, it fills us with gratitude for the role we get to serve in their ministries.
